Norms for Students

1. Monday-Friday: 7:40 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.The School gates will close at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
Saturday Timings: Except for Fourth Saturday, school timings will be 7:40 a.m. to 11:00 a.m
School timings are to be strictly adhered to. Arriving late for school is not acceptable.

2. Students must have a minimum of 80% attendance in each term to be eligible to take Annual Examinations. This stipulation can only be relaxed only in case of genuine medical grounds, at the decision of the Principal.

3. No leaves will be entertained during assessments and examinations held during the year, failing which the student will not be assessed. No Re-Assessment shall be conducted for the students who miss the Assessment or any other School Examination.

4. Absence without prior notice and written application for more than 3 consecutive days render the student liable to strict action.

5. A student’s name will be struck off the rolls if the student is absent from school for 7 days continuously without taking valid leave.

6. Students must report to class by 7: 45 a.m. to ensure that their attendance is marked. Failing to do so, the student will be marked absent, and the message of absenteeism will be sent to the parents.

7. There is no allowance for half-day leave in school for students.

8. Students must maintain order and discipline at all times during school hours.

9. Bringing unnecessary, valuable articles and money to school is strictly prohibited. The school shall not be responsible for any loss incurred.

10. Carrying mobile phones, smart watches, cameras, etc. to school is strictly forbidden, such items will be confiscated.

11. As per the CBSE guidelines any form of bullying, use of foul language/ gestures etc. are punishable offences, whether in or out of school. Bullying can be direct [e.g. through physical, or mental harassment, verbal abuse, damaging property or belongings of school or others] or indirect [e.g. spreading malevolent rumours (including social media also] against a fellow student or any member of the staff strictly prohibited. Students found indulging in the same will be expelled.

12. Any student caught bringing crackers or Holy colours, smoking or in possession of any kind of such thing in and around the school premises will immediately be expelled from the school.

13. Any student using unfair means in the tests/examinations will be disqualified.

14.Students must come in school uniform for all school functions/activities, in or outside the school, special classes and even for PTMs.

15.Students must take pride to wear school uniforms including ID cards and ensure that they look neat, tidy and presentable at all times.
Boys:- Ear Piercing, Tattoos, Chains, Bracelets, Finger rings, big nails and long hair, and
stylist haircut are strictly prohibited.
Girls:- Henna, Nail polish, Chains, Bracelets, Bangles, Finger rings, Highlighted hair, Tattoos, A stylish hairstyle is not allowed, must plait their long hair.

Winter Uniform is mandatory during winters.

Guidelines For Parents

1. It is compulsory to carry the parent ID card when visiting the school. Please cooperate in the interest of the security of children.
2. Parents must regularly attend PTMs to keep the track of their ward’s progress.
3. Parents are welcome to meet the Principal only on prior appointments, on all working days
regarding any matter for the betterment of the students or school.
4. Parents are expected to be polite and cooperative with the staff to here-by maintain Decorum and to jointly work for the progress of their wards.
5. The school offers vast exposure to various activities, competitions and sports facilities for the all-around development of a child. Do encourage your ward to participate actively.6. Change of address or phone number should be intimated immediately in written format to the PRO. Otherwise in urgency school will not be able to connect you.

7. If the child is sick kindly do not send him/her to school.
8. School Fees:
– All the school dues should be paid between the 1st to 10th of the given month.
– Cheques drawn on non-clearing branches of the local banks or outstation branches of the banks are not acceptable.
– Parents should kindly keep the counter fee Receipt safe and produce them whenever required by the school to verify the payment of the school dues.
– Fee to be paid by cheque or cash. Cheque should be in favour of “Lancers Army School CBSE”

FEE DEPOSIT HOURS: 9-00 a.m. TO 2-00 p.m.
