Facilities at Lancers CBSE School
1. Classrooms
The school building of Lancers Army School has been specially designed to gives comfort and learning ambience to students. It is a huge building within a sprawling campus. The classrooms are well ventilated with whiteboards and flannel boards to provide an ideal sanctum for academic progress to take place.
2. Technology
Classrooms are equipped with projectors and visualizers. Certain topics are taught with the help of this technology to make learning an interactive and immersive experience for the students.
3. Computer Lab
The age of technology is upon us and it is becoming increasingly difficult for someone to function without a knowledge of computers. At Lancers Army School, we realize this and have a state-of-the-art computer lab in the school premises. The computer lab is air-conditioned with the adequate number of latest PCs which have all the required software installed. All PCs have a high-speed internet connection. The lab is specially designed to educate the students with the latest technology so that the children get comfortable with technology at a very young age.
4. Science Labs
We have well equipped biology, chemistry and physics labs where students get hands on experience of the experiments they have learnt from the books or their teachers.
5. Language Lab
Language lab helps students to develop their oratory skills and emerge as a confident public speaker. Wordsworth language lab at Lancers is well equipped with electronic sound-reproduction devices.
6. Library
The Lancers Army School’s Library and Resource Centre is the heart of the school. It caters to the intellectual needs of all our students, teachers and many non-teaching staff as well.
While books are the heart of our collection, a myriad of visual, audio and electronic resources are available to enrich individual learning needs for all members of the school community.
7. Sports Ground
Our school has a state of the art playground where New Age, as well as traditional sports, are played. We have sports for all age groups so that children can relax and exercise at the same time with a sporting spirit. The school has an excellent team of Physical Trainers who themselves have excelled in their particular sport to train the children in various outdoor as well as indoor games like Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Skating, Swimming etc. We encourage students to participate in national as well as state level sports events.
8. Music Studio
The students at Lancers learn music under Torrins Music Program for schools. Classes for guitar, keyboard and drum are scheduled regularly.
9. Canteen
The schools offer an optional canteen facility for its students. The Food that is served in the canteen is hygienic and healthy.
10. Transport
Lancers Army School has a bus service to take children to & from school. School bus has a GPS system, trained driver, conductor and a lady attendant who is equipped with a mobile phone. The details of bus routes pickup and drop-off points, time schedules and bus charges will be provided by the school at the time of admission of students.
12. Counselling
Regular sessions of career counselling as well as personal counselling is organized to helps students to resolve their doubts and confusions.
