CBSE BOARD ASSESSMENT

The NEP 2020 envisages a significant shift in the education ecosystem in India. It aims to prepare students for the 21^st century and lays emphasis on competency-based education rather than education that tests rote learning.
Our assessment pattern consists of Internal assessment along with periodic pen-paper tests. Internal assessments reduce the burden and tension related to the annual examinations. Internal assessments are carried out by subject teachers based on different subject enrichment activities which enhance the learning processes. These assessments are continuous and carry a fixed portion of marks for the assessment.
The overall result will be prepared based on Internal Assessments, Periodic tests, Half Yearly examinations, and Annual Examinations. These examinations would test achievement of basic learning outcome, through assessment of core concepts and knowledge ……. rather than rote memorization.

What is the strength per class in pre primary section and how many teachers are assigned per class?

30 to 35 students are accommodated per class with assistant teachers for the pre-primary section. Moreover, separate teachers and coaches are also assigned depending on subjects and activities. (Ground staff of 2 attendants are assigned per class along with separate Caretakers for various activities )

Are all the activities compulsory?

Yes , as it helps a learner to improve life and social skills. Participation in various activities enhances good health, boosts confidence, improves academic performance and relieves stress if any. Activities help to give a happy and healthy mind.

What is Helen O' Grady program? How is it useful to my child?

The Helen O‘Grady was formed in 1979,It’s an Australia based Drama program run by a trained drama teacher who recognises a need for young children to develop their confidence and self-esteem and to improve their verbal communication skills with the help of drama.

Do you provide food or have a canteen?

We have a canteen facility where we provide healthy and nutritious food. it’s optional and chargeable.

Why so many activities?

Activities are divided age wise. And only 6 to 7 activities are entertained in a year to improve life and social skills, to provide health benefits, to boost confidence and to improve academic performance of the students. It promotes team-work and companionship amongst students.
